When is Madrid Pride 2027?
MADO (Madrid Orgullo) lasts about ten days, from the last week of June to the first Sunday of July. Its central moment is the state-wide march on the first Saturday of July, which in 2027 would be Saturday 3 July. Official dates and the programme are published in spring.
For reference, this is how 2026 went:
| Date (2026) | What happened |
|---|---|
| 25–30 June | Neighbourhood Pride in Chueca: parties, exhibitions and events in its bars. |
| Wednesday 1 July | Opening speech in Plaza de Pedro Zerolo at 8:00 pm. The stages begin. |
| Thursday 2 July | High-heels race on calle Pelayo. |
| Saturday 4 July | The march at 7:00 pm, from Glorieta de Carlos V (Atocha) to Plaza de Colón. |
| Sunday 5 July | Last day of concerts and closing gala. |
The stages and the free concerts
On the last five days the city centre fills with stages offering free concerts and shows, from around 8:00 pm until close to midnight. In 2026 they were:
- Plaza de Pedro Zerolo (Chueca): the opening speech and the neighbourhood bars’ parties.
- Plaza del Rey, renamed Plaza de las Reinas during MADO: the stage dedicated to LBT women.
- Puerta del Sol: urban music.
- Plaza de España: the main stage, with Latin Pride and the closing gala.
Pride parties at Madrid nightclubs
Beyond the street party, Madrid nightclubs hold special Pride parties, many in Chueca and the centre. The ones at venues listed on this website appear here as they go on sale, with price and page.
On big dates tickets go up in price tiers and sell out: buy early. See how guest lists work.
There are no parties on sale for these dates yet: venues usually publish them a few weeks before. They’ll appear here as soon as they do.
Tips for Madrid Pride
- Book your stay early: it’s one of the most expensive weeks of the year in Madrid.
- Heat: drink water, wear sunscreen and rest in the shade at midday.
- Watch your belongings in the crowds.
- Respect and consent: it’s a party and a protest; if you see an assault, call 112.
- Getting back: the metro normally closes at 1:30 am (check for special hours that week) and night buses («búhos») leave from Cibeles. Clubs close at 6:00 am at weekends; see club hours in Spain.
