About Opposite

Opposite is a venue in Montjuïc's Poble Espanyol, at Avinguda de Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia, 13, with a separate entrance on Carrer de la Foixarda. It describes itself as “a high-fidelity hideaway”, more than a restaurant or a bar: a minimalist space with Funktion-One sound that brings together food, drinks and dancing. It has been running since 2025: a party in April that year billed it as “the new venue in Poble Espanyol” and was presented “hand in hand with the INPUT group”. There is no fixed night: it is programmed by promoters such as LATINEO, alboroto, LOAD, INTIMATE and Los Roques, with its fortnightly afternoons of food and dancing, almost always on a Friday or Saturday and from the afternoon until 3am. The music is house, tech house, progressive and techno. The minimum age is 18 (21 at some parties), and alboroto nights ask for casual dress, with no bum bags, trainers or ripped trousers. You can get there by metro to Espanya (L1, L3 and FGC) or on buses 13, 23 and 150.
