About Trips Summer Club
Trips Summer Club is the longest-running summer club in the area: it opened in 1985 on the Cabo de Palos road (RM-12), between Cabo de Palos and the entrance to La Manga del Mar Menor, within the municipality of Cartagena. Today it is a leisure complex of more than 10,000 m² with restaurants, two stages, parking for 2,000 cars and four rooms: the Main Room, with the dance floor in the middle and VIP areas on several levels; Funk, open-air with an Ibiza-style look; House; and Crimson, devoted to techno.
During the summer season it opens Wednesday to Sunday: Puro Sugar on Wednesdays, Hastabajo (reggaeton and dembow) on Thursdays, Borneo in the Funk room on Fridays, Summer Trips with every room open on Saturdays and Roots Trips, with afro house, on Sundays. Outside summer it only hosts one-off events, such as Hermosa Fest in October or New Year's Eve. Tickets are sold on Fourvenues and VIP areas are booked through its website; under-18s are only admitted to events designed for them.
