About Playa Varadero
Playa Varadero, formerly El Varadero, is the La Gran Manzana group's beach club at the Port of Gandia, on Avinguda de la Pau, facing the sea. It has a large terrace on wooden decking with a walkway over the water, Balinese beds, a pool, a restaurant and a stage. At lunchtime it serves a rice set menu with drinks included, and in summer it hosts stand-up comedy with comedians such as Leo Harlem, JJ Vaquero and Toni Moog.
In season it runs two sessions: the afternoon one, from 6pm to 12.30am, and the night one, from 12.30am to 7am, with electronic music, commercial hits and themed parties. Under-18s are not admitted, except at specific events for over-16s with parental permission. Tickets and VIP areas are handled through La Gran Manzana. It is a summer venue: outside the season it has no dates announced.
