About Sala El Tren

Sala El Tren opened in 2002 in a warehouse on the Carretera de Málaga, in the Chana area on the edge of the city, with easy road access and served by the N1 bus line. It is a concert hall for around 400 people, with a 12-metre-wide stage, two bars and a cloakroom, plus twelve rehearsal rooms. In its 24 years it has hosted more than 2,500 events, with over 3,600 bands and 3,400 DJs.

Gigs range from rock and metal to hip hop, mestizaje and tribute bands. Late at night it becomes a club for alternative and underground electronic music, with parties such as HADE TerrorXperience (hardcore, hardstyle and uptempo) and its New Year's Eve Anticotillón, eight hours of DJs that reached its 23rd edition in 2025. From midnight only over-18s are admitted. Tickets are sold on taquilla.com and at the venue.
