Keeper is a late-night bar with a dance floor at Marina Botafoch, roughly halfway along the marina promenade and a few steps from Pacha and Chinois. It has been open since 1987, and it has a small indoor dance floor and a large terrace beside the yachts. It is a popular place for a drink before heading to the clubs and draws many island residents. The music changes with the day: salsa, bachata, reggaeton, hip hop and dancehall, plus house, commercial hits and electronic parties such as Keep on Dancing. It opens all year round: in summer every night from 22:00, and in winter from Thursday to Sunday, 23:00 to 06:00. The minimum age is 18, although some parties ask for 21. They expect a smart appearance, without needing formal wear. There is a guest list, entry with a drink, reserved tables on the terrace, shishas and a cloakroom.
