About Papagayo

Papagayo Tenerife is a beach club by day and an open-air nightclub by night on the seafront promenade of Playa de las Américas (Arona). In 2026 it came in at number 76 in DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs, the first club born in the Canary Islands to make the list. It opens Wednesday to Sunday from 10pm, with a fixed party each night: Move On (house and 90s and 2000s hits) on Wednesdays, Follow (Latin tech and afro house) on Thursdays, La Loka (reggaeton and Latin) on Fridays, Essence (tech house) on Saturdays and Freak & Chic (house, disco and funk with live percussion) on Sundays. It closes at 3am on Wednesdays and Sundays, 4am on Thursdays and 5am at the weekend.

There is a second room, El Nido, with its own ticket and parties, and the AWA restaurant upstairs. Tickets and tables are sold on its website; on the door they cost more and there is no guest list. Over-18s only with physical ID, and the dress code is casual, with no tracksuits or football shirts.
