La Mirona is Salt's big live music venue, on the Mas Xirgu industrial estate right next to Girona. It opened in December 2001 and celebrates its 25th anniversary in December 2026. It has two rooms, one for 1,800 people and another for 450, stages more than a hundred gigs a year and has won the Enderrock award for Catalonia's best live venue six times. Its stage has hosted everyone from Chuck Berry and Status Quo to Manu Chao, Extremoduro and Oques Grasses.
On Friday and Saturday nights it becomes a club under the Mirona Clubs banner, for over-18s only: La Mona (Saturdays, 12.30am to 5.30am), CRŪ (techno with international artists such as Speedy J or Luke Slater), Kducats (makina and hardbounce), the LGBTQ+ party Transmaricabollo and El Vespreig, with hits from the 80s, 90s and 2000s. Advance tickets are sold on its website and, if any are left, at the door. There is a cloakroom at €2 per item.
