About Mombassa
Mombassa is the club in Tarifa's old town, on Plaza de la Paz, inside a converted former cinema. It has been part of Tarifa's nightlife for 16 years and keeps the cinema's layout: two rooms, a mezzanine and VIP areas, with a large tree in the middle of the main dance floor and two DJ booths, one of them high up between two huge horns. It is the club in the centre that stays open until 7am, where people go when the bars close.
Resident and guest DJs play house and commercial music, and it runs its own themed parties: Welcome to the Jungle, Piratas del Estrecho, the electronic night Sounday and Keep Dancing. In summer 2026 its guests included XYC Music, Los Primos and Dani del Lío. It is a seasonal club, with its main programme in summer, and it is now closed until next season. Tickets and VIP tables are sold on Fourvenues and via WhatsApp.
