About Darkom Lounge

Darkom is a shisha lounge in the Barrio de las Letras, on Calle del Infante, a few steps from Calle de las Huertas and Plaza de Santa Ana. It opened in 2012, founded by Mli Badreddine, who drew on the traditions of his home town in Morocco, and over the years it has become a brand with a second venue in Dubai, opened in 2024. In Madrid it is one of the best-rated shisha lounges, with around 1,900 Google reviews and a score of 9 out of 10, which keep mentioning the quality of the shisha, the cocktails and the staff. The décor is oriental-inspired, intimate and cosy, and there is usually live music at weekends. On the menu there are cocktails and traditional teas, with an average spend of around €20 per person.
