Shambala Lounge is a shisha and cocktail bar on Calle de la Reina, just off Gran Vía, and one of the most reviewed shisha lounges in Madrid: more than 2,000 reviews on Google, with an average score of 9.6 out of 10. Its signature is the décor: sand on the floor, warm lighting and chill-out music that turn the place into a small beach in the middle of the city. The shishas are made to order by its team of hookah masters: instead of a fixed list of flavours, the “Shambala Experience” means they advise you until you find your blend, and the “Dark Experience” uses dark tobacco for those who want more intensity. They come with classic, fruit and signature cocktails and sweet and savoury snacks, and on some nights a DJ plays. The same owners run a second venue, Shambala Lounge Lux, in Tetuán.
