About Monument Hotel

Monument Hotel is an independent five-star grand luxury hotel, with one Michelin Key, on Passeig de Gràcia, opposite La Pedrera. It occupies the former house of the industrialist Enric Batlló, from 1895–1896, by Josep Vilaseca, the architect of the Arc de Triomf, renovated by Oscar Tusquets and Mercè Borrell. It has 84 rooms from 24 to 85 m²; the largest is the Enric Batlló Suite.

It is home to Lasarte, Martín Berasategui’s restaurant with three Michelin stars, as well as BERA, by the same chef, a cocktail bar designed by Javier de las Muelas and Verbena, a rooftop with a seasonal outdoor pool. It has a gym, a sauna and a Turkish bath, and four event spaces: the Verbena rooftop holds 200 people at a cocktail reception, and the Arc and Bera rooms together, up to 300.
