About Cotton House

Cotton House Hotel is a five-star Autograph Collection (Marriott) hotel on Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, a finalist for best urban hotel in the 2024 Condé Nast Traveler Awards. It occupies a 19th-century neoclassical mansion commissioned by a family of the textile bourgeoisie, which in the mid-20th century became the headquarters of the cotton guild. It opened as a hotel in 2015, with interiors by Lázaro Rosa-Violán, and has 83 rooms from 23 to 90 m², five of them suites, such as the Vichy Suite, a duplex with a private terrace.

Batuar, its cocktail bar and Mediterranean restaurant, is open from 7:00 to midnight and has a 300 m² garden terrace. The hotel has a rooftop pool with a sun terrace, a library, a gym, massages and bespoke tailoring (L’Atelier), and small spaces for celebrations, presentations and fashion shoots.
