About Guateque

Guateque is the club of Grupo BanBan, the El Puerto leisure group that also runs La Cristalera and Padreo. It stands on Plaza Juan de la Cosa, in the old town of El Puerto de Santa María, near San Marcos Castle. The group calls it its first club: it appears in its history in 2015 and today fills a playfully designed room, with slogans painted on the walls and the motto «La vida es un guateque» in neon.

Urban music dominates, with reggaeton and current hits for most of the night, and on set dates it puts on concerts and special sessions. It stays open outside the summer: in September and October 2026 it announced parties every week. Tickets are sold online with a QR code; guides mention advance tickets from €10 with a drink, a smart-looking door policy and a minimum age of 18 or 20 depending on the party. For now it does not offer bottle service.
