About Aliatar

Aliatar fills a former cinema with more than 80 years of history on Calle Recogidas, next to Puerta Real, right in the centre of Granada (Alcázar Genil metro). Refitted with neon lighting, it is now a club, concert hall and events space in one: it has two floors, a capacity of 200 to 600 people depending on the layout and ten VIP boxes on the upper level overlooking the dance floor and stage. Inside there is also Aliatar Club, a smaller room for private parties and launches.

As a club it opens Tuesday to Thursday from 11pm to 6am, Friday and Saturday until 7am, and on Sunday afternoons from 4.30 or 5pm to midnight; local guides describe it as the club for the over-30s. It hosts pop, rock, indie, Latin and tribute concerts (Melón Diesel, María Escarmiento, Temples, and tributes to Héroes del Silencio and El Canto del Loco), with tickets on its website and on taquilla.com. Boxes for up to 7 people with a bottle are booked through its website.
