Canalla is a club and live music venue on the ground floor of Avenida de Bayona 2, in the San Juan district, a few minutes' walk from central Pamplona. It holds 700 people between the main dance floor and the VIP areas, and is one of the city's go-to spots for university students. It opens Thursday to Saturday at midnight: Thursdays bring La Optativa, until 6am, and on Fridays and Saturdays it stays open until 6.30am with parties such as Saturdays, Osmos or Perréalo, playing chart music and reggaeton.
As a concert venue it has hosted Efecto Pasillo, Taburete, Pablo López and Vanesa Martín, and it also runs afternoon parties. Tickets cost €10–25 depending on the event and are sold on its website, and on some nights there are guest lists valid until 2am. VIP tables for 4 to 10 people, with bottles and mixers included, cost €100–500, and shishas are available. It is for over-18s (except at certain events) and does not admit sportswear, football shirts or flip-flops.
