Gu occupies the Real Club Náutico building, the ship-shaped rationalist landmark overlooking La Concha bay next to the City Hall, on the edge of the Old Town. It is a cocktail bar from 5pm and, from midnight, the tables are cleared, the lights go down and it becomes a club with resident and guest DJs; Claptone, Deborah de Luca and M.A.N.D.Y. have all played here. The room is open-plan, with glass walls over the bay, and the terrace is open all year round.

The club opens on Thursdays from 11.30pm to 5am and on Fridays and Saturdays from 11.30pm to 6.30am. The music shifts through the night, from house and pop to classics, hip hop, R&B and Latin, with themed parties every month. VIP tables sit next to the DJ booth, with a minimum of one bottle per four people, and must be booked in advance. Cocktails cost €12 and spirit mixers €10–14.
