About Shôko

Shôko is a restaurant and club on the Passeig Marítim, facing Barceloneta beach between Opium and KU, open since 2004. By day and at dinner time it is a Mediterranean and Japanese restaurant with a terrace on the sand; at midnight it turns into a club, with a high-ceilinged room and Asian-inspired décor. It opens every night with a fixed party for each day: Fucking Monday on Mondays, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (French touch and afrobeats) on Tuesdays, Pop That Party (trap and drill) on Wednesdays, La Residencia (reggaeton and dembow, often with Latin artists performing live) on Thursdays, The Room on Fridays, Pure Shôko on Saturdays and Level Up on Sundays.

The music ranges from hip hop and R&B to reggaeton, trap and afrobeats. It was number 7 in The World's 100 Best Clubs 2025 and has been nominated again for 2026. Entry is free on the guest list before 1:30am and advance tickets are available; VIP tables are booked separately. Smart dress is expected.
