Call to bookAbout Amazónico
Amazónico is the show restaurant of Sandro Silva and Marta Seco, founders of Grupo Paraguas, on Calle de Jorge Juan in the Salamanca district. It opened in 2016 and quickly became one of Madrid’s most popular restaurants, and today has houses in London, Dubai, Monte Carlo and Miami. Its motto is “the refined taste of the jungle”: a dining room lush with tropical greenery where the cooking is inspired by the countries of the Amazon and the Asian and Mediterranean communities that live there, from Peruvian sushi and raw seafood to meat and fish over embers and on the spit, with specialities such as saikyo yaki black hake, carabinero prawn ceviche, sea urchin guacamole, toro tartare with caviar or wagyu cuts. It has a Japanese bar with counter sushi, tropical fresh-fruit cocktails, live music in the dining room and a DJ in the bar, and on the ground floor the Jungle Jazz Club, with jazz concerts every day. There are private rooms for 8 to 100 people. The dress code is smart-elegant.
