Call to bookAbout Las Brasas de Castellana
Las Brasas de Castellana is the grill house of the Rosewood Villa Magna hotel on the Paseo de la Castellana: a brasserie of authentic, seasonal Madrid and Spanish cooking, rooted in tradition, with the grill as its meeting point. It has an open kitchen, large windows and a garden terrace overlooking the hotel gardens, one of the most attractive and versatile spaces in the city. It works with local and nearby producers through the Partners in Provenance programme: vegetables from the Aranjuez market gardens, free-range eggs from Ávila, olive oil from the Sierra de Cazorla, Galician beef or fish and shellfish from Pescaderías Coruñesas. From the grill come tenderloin, entrecôte, milk-fed lamb chops, Kagoshima wagyu and aged Galician beef chops, and from the market wild sea bass, langoustines, razor clams or the catch of the day, with sharing dishes such as beef Wellington, turbot with Bilbao-style sauce or creamy octopus rice. It serves breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, with a Sunday brunch and the Rosewood Kitchen Club, evenings of food, cocktails and music.
