About SLVJ Velázquez

SLVJ Velázquez is the SLVJ group’s restaurant (formerly Salvaje) in the Salamanca district, inside the BLESS Madrid hotel at Calle de Velázquez, 62. Its motto, “The Wild Side of Japanese Cuisine”, sums it up: signature Japanese cooking by chef Fermín Azkue, with a sushi bar, a raw bar and a robata (the Japanese grill), and signature cocktails by Borja Goikoetxea. What sets it apart is the night: every day from 8 pm, dinner comes with a live show and a DJ in the Sala Rhino, the main room, crowned by a golden rhinoceros hanging beneath a large skylight. There is also the Sala Marfil, two private rooms for groups (Iki and Honne), a hidden club, Fetén, and a bowling alley, the only one in central Madrid according to the venue, open every day from 4 pm with cocktails. It opens every day from 1:30 pm to 4 am, so you can have dinner and stay on for drinks without moving. At lunchtime, Monday to Friday, it serves a four-course business lunch for €24.95, and on Sundays a family lunch with a show for children. The average price is around €50 per person.
