About VelascoAbellà

VelascoAbellà is the home of Óscar Velasco and Montse Abellà, partners in work and life, on Calle de Víctor Andrés Belaunde in the Hispanoamérica district, with one Michelin star. They have worked together for more than twenty years in the best restaurants and alongside the top professionals of Spain and France, with Michelin stars and Repsol Suns behind them: he received Spain’s National Gastronomy Award for Best Head Chef in 2007 and she won the Grand Prix au Chef Pâtissier in 2016. Here they express their style one hundred per cent, personal, creative and with produce above all, in a homely, welcoming atmosphere: “for us it is home”. You eat à la carte, from a menu that changes daily, or with a set menu of six savoury dishes and two desserts. Downstairs is El Apartamento, a space with its own kitchen for up to 20 people that works as a private dining room or for private events, tastings and launches; the whole restaurant can also be booked, their cooking can come to your home, and they sell their braised shank to take away.

Tuesday to Saturday, 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm and 8:30 pm to 10:30 pm. Sunday and Monday, closed. Parking nearby.
