Yugo The Bunker is a Japanese fine-dining restaurant on Calle de San Blas, in the Barrio de las Letras near Atocha, with a Michelin star since 2019 and the Repsol Guide’s recommendation. Its philosophy is absolute loyalty to pure Japanese cooking: noble produce without masking its flavour, from suppliers sought out in Alaska, Japan, Portugal or the Ebro delta. It has two spaces with one concept. Upstairs, the Izakaya, a Japanese tavern with a casual, street feel, as if lifted from the pages of a manga. Downstairs, away from prying eyes, The Bunker, a faithful replica of a Japanese bunker, a refuge from an over-hurried world, where the tasting menus are served: Evolution, with the latest creations, and Clásicos del Bunker, an anthology of the bites that refuse to leave. They come with wine, sake and beer pairings. The space suits private and corporate events with a tailored offer.

Tuesday to Saturday, 1:30 pm to 3:15 pm and 8:30 pm to 10:30 pm. Sundays, 1:30 pm to 3:15 pm. Closed Mondays and Sunday evenings.
